I’m Evan M. from EM Guitars. I build custom Acoustic & Electric guitars that customers want or those that I want to build just because. I love guitars. I’ve been playing them since I was about 9 years old. I am a trained classical guitarist, but also play many other styles of music, Jazz, Blues, Rock, etc.

I’ve been building guitars for around 10 years and my philosophy with a guitar build is that I want to make something a bit different than store bought guitars. Some guitars I build with styles that I like, but what I really like is when I get a customer involved in “their” build. What do they want in a guitar? What type, style, colors, hardware. They get to pick and choose. I also like some body styles that are a bit different from the standard Fender, Gibson, etc.
